It’s a family affair with Nicky & Anthony

I’ve know Nicky for quite some time and was delighted and honoured when she asked me to photograph her wedding…

It wasn’t just about getting together for a pre-wedding shoot for Nicky & Anthony, it was about including their family too. They were part of the plans, literally!!! Their children had been part of the planning when Anthony popped the question. On the day he proposed, Nicky’s was met by three 3 t-shirts worn by their children all carefully planned by Anthony, which read WILL, YOU, MARRY ME? I love that.

So when Nicky asked could the children be part of their pre-wedding shoot, my answer ‘Absolutely’ We all arrived at Ufton Woods on a VERY cold crisp day, the sun was shining, Max, Henry and Anais were VERY excited and Nicky and Anthony were a little nervous. As we walked the sun glistened through the trees, the birds were singing, the dusting of snow was shimmering, it couldn’t have been any more perfect.

The same can be said for their wedding plans, I know Nicky has planned their perfect day with absolute precision and I have loved hearing all the tiny details. I am very much looking forward to their wedding which will take place in May this year. Watch this space…

A Winter Wedding at Mallory Court Hotel

Posted on: January 9th, 2015 by Karen Massey No Comments

It was the perfect winter wedding…

The air was cold, icicles forming and Jess looked absolutely stunning as she put on her fur wrap to keep her warm. There is no denying how she felt as she walked arm in arm down the isle with her dad Patrick, it was evident for all to see; a beaming smile from ear to ear. Ben had patiently waited for her at St Mary’s Church in Warwick and boy was it worth the wait…

Jess and Ben had chosen a very small intimate family wedding, with Jess’s family traveling from France. They celebrated in style at the beautiful quintessential country house known as Mallory Court. Everything was just perfect.

Jess & Ben, it was an absolute pleasure to document your day and I would like to wish you both a lifetime of health and happiness x
