Choosing a venue for your Wedding

Judging by the number of wedding enquiries I have received already this year, I think it is fair to say that “love is in the air’’ in 2016.

There are so many important decisions that couples have to decide upon, such as the all important dress, who to invite, which church, and more importantly which photographer, however that decision shouldn’t be so difficult (she says modestly).

Of course one major decision is where to celebrate your special day with your family and friends, with so many options this can really be a tough decision With this in mind I thought I would help those Brides and Grooms to be, by showcasing some of the amazing venues, I have had the good fortune of photographing in 2015.

I consider myself to be so lucky, being able to be a part of a couples special day, I get so involved in their day, that I get to see everything, I think this makes me the perfect person to be able to recommend a venue.

Each of the venues I am mentioning is spectacular for its own reasons, offering individuality, along with the perfect setting for that perfect day.

Of course at the end of the day it is your choice, but it doesn't hurt for me to share some highlights.

Lets start with a venue close to me in my home town of Leamington Spa...

Boasting to be one of the top 200 country hotels in the country, this 31 bedroom hotel has a certain charm with breath taking grounds that always helps me as a photographer for those all important images. The hotel offers something for everyone, as old and new come together effortlessly, offering a beautiful back drop for your special day.

Where ever you choose, I hope your day is everything and more than you ever wished. Of course the one thing that you will need to help you relive that special day over and over again for years to come, is someone to document the day, capturing all those special memories and equally those moments you miss, like the look of intrepidation on the grooms face, as he waits at the alter, or the father of the bride as he first sets eyes on his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress, all moments that should and will stay with you a lifetime.
