Photography for Business
Helping Your Team Capture Images That Tell the Right Story
Helping Your Team Take Better Business Photos Using Their Phones
This workshop brings together my experience in brand and corporate photography with Martin’s work through Eyekon Ltd.
Together, we’ve delivered photography sessions for organisations including luxury cruise lines and the National Trust, helping thousands of people feel more confident using their cameras, or more often now, their phones.
What we bring into your business is that same calm, practical approach, making photography feel simple, clear and easy to apply.
Why Great Images Matter
Photography plays a part in almost every business, often more than we realise.
Whether it’s documenting an issue, recording progress, or capturing content for marketing, images are used every day to communicate quickly.
But most teams have never been shown how to take a clear, effective photograph.
So what I often see is:
Images that don’t quite show what they need to
Inconsistent quality across teams
Missed details or poor lighting
A lot of guesswork
This is where a bit of guidance can make a big difference.
The Workshop
This is a half-day, hands-on workshop designed to give your team simple, practical skills they can use straight away.
There’s no complicated equipment and no technical overwhelm. Everything is based around the devices your team already uses.
I guide the session in a relaxed and supportive way, so people feel comfortable asking questions and trying things out.
We focus on real scenarios within your business, so what your team learns feels relevant and useful from the start.
A typical session includes:
A simple introduction to how images tell a story in business
How to compose, light and frame shots clearly
Practical exercises using your own devices
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Simple editing tools already available on your phone
A review of images taken during the session
Who it’s for
This isn’t about turning your team into photographers.
It’s about giving them the confidence to capture images that actually communicate what they need to.
That might be for reporting, documentation, or marketing.
The result is:
More consistent, professional-looking images
Clearer communication across your business
Stronger, more usable content
Increased confidence within your team
A session that feels engaging and genuinely useful

Workshop FAQ
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Do we need any prior photography experience?
Not at all. The workshop is designed for complete beginners through to those with some experience. Everything is explained in a simple, practical way so everyone can follow along.
What equipment do we need?
No specialist equipment is required. The training is based around the devices your team already uses, most commonly smartphones. Although we do advise a selfie stick is used and if recording, maybe phone mics, but we advise on these in adnvance of the workshop.
How many people can attend?
This depends on the session you choose. Smaller sessions are ideal for 5–10 people, while larger workshops can accommodate up to 20 participants.
Can the workshop be tailored to our business?
Yes, and this is an important part of the process. Before the session, I’ll learn more about how your team uses photography so the training feels relevant and directly applicable.
Do you work with different teams or departments?
Yes. For larger groups, the session can be structured to work with different teams, allowing us to focus on how photography is used in each area of your business.
Where does the workshop take place?
Workshops are usually delivered on-site at your business, as this allows us to work within your environment and use real scenarios.
What will our team be able to do afterwards?
Your team will have the confidence to take clearer, more consistent and more effective images that communicate what they need to, whether for documentation, reporting or marketing.
We’re not sure which session would suit us best. Can we talk it through first?
Of course. I’m always happy to have a conversation first so we can look at your team, your goals, and what will work best for your business.
